I'm sure you've heard this all before. "I wasn't the prettiest girl at school, but somehow, Oikawa noticed me out of the millions of girls that followed him around!" Let me just call bull on that and tell you that, no, Oikawa did not notice the 'normal looking girls' out of the numerous amounts of 'slightly better-looking girls'. That boy went through each and every pretty girl in the third year before even considering any of the normal ones. By the way, I'm a normal-looking girl. What that means is that I don't wake up at 5 am just to spend 3 hours putting on makeup. Instead, I wake up at around 7:30 am, brush my hair and teeth, put on my uniform, and leave for school. I find this way of life significantly less stressful and significantly more easy (not to mention the extra 2 hours and half of sleep I get), and I honestly don't give a damn if I'm not pleasant to look at.

So, with that said, it was no surprise that Oikawa's supply on pretty girlfriends had run low, and he was making desperate attempts to feed his ever-growing desire of some type of love interest. This is where I come in. I had no desire whatsoever to even carry on a conversation with Oikawa Tooru, but he promised me 6,000 yen if I pretended to be his girlfriend for a week.

"(Name)-chan!!" Oikawa cried as I stepped into the classroom. His blatant attempts to seize the attention of everyone in the room were obvious to me, but of course, everyone played right into his hands and watched the two of us with wide eyes.

"I missed you!" he cooed as he hugged me tighter than I would've wanted him to.

"Getthefuckoffme," I mumbled through my fake grin as I awkwardly pat his back.

"Everyone's watching, so just wait," he whispered in my ear before kissing my cheek. Shivers ran down my spine and then I tried with all my might to shove him off me without looking like I wanted to push him into the wall.

Oikawa's attempts at spreading a rumor of his "new girlfriend" were surprisingly successful. So successful, in fact, that I had gotten death-threat notes in my books at a record-breaking time of 8:30 am. The notes didn't faze me, however. Something about the notebook paper covered in pink hearts made it less intimidating and more amusing.

"This is by far my favorite," I laughed as Oikawa did his regular after-class visit to satisfy the public, "It literally says, "I will rip off your arm and beat you with it if you hurt Tooru-kun." She dotted her i's with hearts."

"Aren't you even a little bit scared?" he asked, looking at me quizzically.

"The only thing I care about is the 6,000 yen-"

"Wha-What are you talking about, (Name)-chan??" he laughed nervously as he covered my mouth and glanced around to see if anyone was listening.

"Right-sorry," I said and cleared my throat, "You're the best thing that's ever happened to me Oikawa-kun!!" My sudden statement caused every single girl in the hallway to turn around and glare at me with the most pissed look in their eyes. Oikawa put an arm around my shoulder and led me away from the hallway as he continued to forcefully laugh. Once we were out of eye-sight, his smile quickly dropped and he glared at me.

"If I'm going to make every single one of my past girlfriends jealous, you have to act convincingly," he whispered, looking down at me with the most urgent look in his eyes.

"Okay, okay. It doesn't take much to make those girls jealous, you know-"

"They may seem like they're falling for it, but they're like freaking Sherlock Holmes when it comes to my relationships," he urged. He continued to inform me about the fan club he accidentally walked into, and he saw many charts of the activities he and his girlfriend had been up to for the past couple of days. The 6,000 yen was very important to me, because I had a total of no money in my possession and I really wanted to by the complete box set of the old Doctor Who series. Naturally, my acting skills improved the next day as I kept my goal in mind.

On Wednesday, I had to repeatedly remind myself that "this is for the Doctor Who box set" in my mind as I fed Oikawa his lunch and he giggled like a freaking 5-year-old. However, my patience ran low when he informed me that there was a kiss scheduled that afternoon.

"For god's sake, Oikawa, is that really necessary?" I groaned, "I haven't even had my first kiss yet and I have to go and waste it on you?"

He raised his eyebrow and looked at me, obviously amused, "You've never kissed anyone?"

"No," I grumbled, shifting my feet awkwardly. His smirk grew considerably in the next few seconds and I glared at him, "Don't look at me like that."

He glanced around him slightly before advancing towards me, "There's no one around," he said, getting even closer, "We could practice."

"Oikawa Tooru, you've said some stupid shit in your life but this one definitely takes the cake," I laughed, "What have I done or said in the past few days that would make you think I would be okay with that-"

Before I could even finish my sentence, he took my face in his hands and pressed his lips against mine. I didn't do anything at first because I wasn't quite sure of what was happening, but when I had fully processed the situation, I quickly pushed him off of me. I stood there for a second, looking at him with my mouth open in surprise.

"The hell was that?" I yelled, wiping my mouth with the back of my hand.

"That wasn't too bad... Next time if you actually engaged it might be better," he simply said, turning around and walking with his hands in his pocket, "By the way, you're blushing."

I quickly walked to his side and roughly bumped into him, "I'm not blushing!"

"Yes, you are," he laughed, stumbling a bit, "Because you suck at kissing."

"Because I was caught off guard!" I countered. Before I even knew what I was doing, I grabbed Oikawa's arm and he turned to face me. Suddenly, I pulled him close to me and locked my lips with his. He was the one standing in shock, but his didn't last as long as mine did. He dropped whatever it was the he was holding, wrapped his arms around my waist, and engaged in the surprisingly heated kiss. I let my hands slip into his hair and tug on it, reveling in his accidental moans. Oikawa uncharacteristically played into my hands, and I took advantage of the situation at the full extent. I broke the kiss, still keeping my lips close to his, but not allowing them to touch. My hands slid down to his chest and I pushed away from him.

"That is how I kiss," I said before turning and walking away.
one-shot in which the reader has had just about enough of oikawa's crap
